Odisha Golden Triangle
Puri, Konark and Bhubaneswar
Three temple towns within 65 km of each other: Jagannath at Puri, the Sun Temple at Konark and the Lingaraj temple at Bhubaneswar – the finest examples of Kalinga architecture.
Together they show the full arc of Odisha's temple building from the 7th to the 13th century, under the Somavamshi and Eastern Ganga dynasties, and three living traditions – Jagannath, Surya and Shiva.
