Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Ayodhya

Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya, Ayodhya district · Ram Lalla, Lord Rama as a five-year-old child (with the Ram Darbar of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman on the first floor)

A new three-storey stone temple on the site Hindus revere as Rama's birthplace, consecrated in January 2024 after a century-long legal dispute.

The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is built on the site that Hindus believe is the birthplace (janmabhoomi) of Lord Rama, hero of the Ramayana. The land was the subject of one of India's longest legal disputes, settled by the Supreme Court in November 2019. The new temple, in the Nagara style of north India, was consecrated on 22 January 2024 with a new 51-inch black-stone idol of Ram Lalla (Rama as a child). Darshan, aarti passes and Sugam Darshan passes are all free and are booked on the Trust's official portal.
