Shree Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi
Statutory board · Shirdi, Rahata taluka, Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar) district, Maharashtra
The Sansthan runs Shri Saibaba's Samadhi Mandir and the other shrines linked to Sai Baba in Shirdi. These are Dwarkamai, Chavadi, Gurusthan and Lendi Baug. Its first managing committee was formed in 1922 under a scheme approved by the Ahmednagar District Court. A 2004 state Act re-formed it as a statutory trust. Its charity work includes the Shri Saibaba Hospital, the Sainath Blood Bank, a large prasadalaya and schools and colleges.
How it is run
Since 2004, a Management Committee appointed by the Maharashtra government (a Chairman, Vice-Chairman and members) runs the Sansthan. A Chief Executive Officer handles day-to-day administration.
