Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan
Trust · Katra Keshav Dev, Mathura
Madan Mohan Malaviya bought the 13.37-acre Katra Keshav Dev site in 1944 with help from industrialist Jugal Kishore Birla. Birla then formed a trust, later registered (on 21 February 1951) as the Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan. The complex, built between 1953 and 1982, holds the Garbha Griha (traditional birthplace) shrine, the Keshavdeva temple and the Bhagavata Bhavan. The site lies next to the Shahi Eidgah, and the 1968 agreement between the two is being challenged in court.
How it is run
A private trust that grew out of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust formed by Jugal Kishore Birla, with the Dalmia family among its trustees; news reports in August 2026 named Kapil Sharma as secretary.
